Associate Professor of the School of Asian Studies, National Research University Higher School of Economics E.A. Khokhlova gave a lecture on contemporary South Korean art as part of the Days of Asian Culture at GES-2.

Our student of the bachelor’s programme “Asian and African Studies” within the framework of the project “Ambassadors of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs 2021-2022” returned to school to tell future applicants about the peculiarities of studying at the Higher School of Economics and the advantages of the chosen trajectory, as well as to support high school students before the upcoming exams.

In the interview for HSE Daily, Academic Supervisor, Professor of the School of World Economy at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at the National Research University Higher School of Economics Leonid Grigoriev spoke about the sanctions campaign against Russia and analyzed what the global economy will face in the near future.

On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, the Department of International Relations and the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism held the 34rd session of the Eurasian Online Seminar.

On March 18, the team of the project “Dialogues about the East” held the first open meeting this year with A. Fursov – a famous historian, social scientist, academician of the International Academy of Sciences. This event was devoted to evaluating the role of oriental studies and history in the system of social sciences.

On Thursday, March 10, 2022, the HSE Bulgarian Club together with the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism and under the aegis of the Department of International Relations of the National Research University Higher School of Economics held a seminar on the topic “Towards a New European Energy and Climate Strategy: The European Green Deal as the Key Driver Forward”.

On February 25, 2022 the School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University within the framework of the permanent online seminars «Contemporary Area Studies», organized a meeting with  with Dr. Evgeny Kremnev, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Oriental and Regional Studies of the Asia-Pacific Region, Irkutsk State University.

On February 21, 2022 the School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University, within the framework of the permanent online seminars “Contemporary Area Studies”, organised a meeting with MBA from the University of Chicago, Ph.D. in Economics, a specialist in socio-economic development of India Alexander Lopatin.
