On December 8, 2020, within the framework of the permanent online project “It’s worth talking about”, online meeting was held withAndrey Baklanov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation, the State adviser of the Russian Federation of the first class, the Head of the research sector of the Middle East and North Africa of the School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE. The theme of the meeting was “Turkey: opponent or partner?”
On 19-25 November the X Russian-Chinese School on International Relations was held on the basis of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs.

On Friday, 4 December 2020, the Department of International Relations and the School of Oriental Studies of National Research University Higher School of Economics were honored to host a renowned Hong Kong entrepreneur Yu Pun-hoi. The topic of the discussion was “Sino-American Relations in an Era of "Unprecedented Change" and the Prospects for Continued De-Coupling After the New Master Appears in the White House”.
Kutyrev Georgy, Researcher at the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations, took part in II International Congress on Russia and Spain: Politics, Economics, Culture on 26-27 of November. The topic of his report was “The evolution of the party system in Spain (1975-2019).”
