Last Friday, March 15, a scientific conference of young researchers “Russia and the EAEU between East and West: development and modernization in a changing geopolitical environment” took place.

On March 1st the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Russia held the Ceremony in Lotte hotel in honor of 100 years anniversary of March 1st movement for independence of Korea as well as the scientific conference dedicated to this important event. Students of the Korean department and teachers of the program "Economy and Politics in Asia" were invited to this event. The Head of School of Foreign Regional Studies, the Deputy Academic Supervisor of the program Vera Vishnyakova presented the report on "Declarations of Independence of Korea through a Prism of Values and Estimates" at the scientific conference.
Timofey Bordachev, the Scientific Supervisor of the Centre for Comprehensive European and International Studies (CCEIS), published the article "What can Russia give Asia?"
From February 25 to March 2, HSE’s Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs hosted an academic module of the University Consortium, an inter-regional training programme for outstanding students that aims to promote mutual understanding, balanced analysis, and genuine dialogue among the US, EU, and Russia.
On March 4, a research seminar at the International Laboratory of World Order Studies and New Regionalism was held. The speaker was Sander Aaron Garrett - Ph.D. (International Relations), specialist in the field of Central Eastern Europe, teacher of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
