On February 20, an open lecture was held at the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism by an associate professor at the Deparment of Political Science – University of Genova Mara Morini on the topic “Populists in power: the case of the Five Italian Movement and the League”.

On February 14, an international lecture by Anton Vadimovich Polyachenkov, intern of the, “The Role of German Analytical Centers in the Formation of German African Politics (Sub-Saharan Africa Case)”, was held at the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism.

Set to launch in the fall of 2020, HSE’s new English-taught master’s programme ‘Economics, Politics, and Business in Asia’ is now accepting applications. Students of the programme will spend their first and fourth semesters at HSE University in Moscow and their second and third semesters at Kyung Hee University in South Korea. Programme graduates will receive a diploma from each partner university. Professor Denis Shcherbakov, programme Academic Supervisor, explains what students can expect in the new programme.

On January 23, an open lecture by Grigory Lukyanov - senior lecturer of FSS NRU HSE, researcher of the CIAS of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, RIAC expert, head of the expert club of the Russian Middle East Association on “Libya 2020: new features of the conflict and prospects for settlement” was held.
