The following is an interview with Georgy Kutyrev, a senior researcher of the laboratory, a candidate of political sciences, an expert in European security, political parties in modern Portugal and Spain, and democratic transits in Europe and Latin America.

On February 22, an open lecture was held by Richard Sakwa, a famous British political scientist, a specialist in the study of political processes in Russia and a leading foreign scientist in HSE International Laboratory of World Order and New Regionalism. The lecture was devoted to the review of modern theories and approaches to international relations analysis, in particular, it was Atlanticism as a concept rethinking, interpreting of existing global order transformation.

The scientific journal "Trade Policy" published new articles written by the leading tutors of the Master’s program "International Trade Policy".

On February 21, a collective monograph “The European Union: Risks and Challenges of the Current Stage of Political Evolution” was presented, one of whose authors was Candidate of Political Sciences, Research Fellow at the International Laboratory for World Order and New Regionalism at HSE, Kutyrev Georgy.

On February 14, the research seminar of the International Laboratory of the World Order and New Regionalism of the National Research University Higher School of Economics was held at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at which INION senior research fellow Andrei Belinsky spoke. 

On February 12, a round table discussion was held on the topic “Geopolitics and geo-economics of security and conflict in Central Asia”, with the head speaker Gregory Simons, a researcher at the Institute of Russian and Eurasian Studies (ISTRI) (Sweden) and associate professor at the Department of Communication Sciences, University Turība (Latvia).

International laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism is launching the interview series with laboratory members. In these interviews they tell us about their professional experience and current and future researches.
