Master's students of the “Socioeconomic and Political Development of Modern Asia” program at HSE University, Ilya Kozylov and Maxim Kokovin, became the winners of the Vladimir Potanin Scholarship Competition.

Within the framework of the International Youth Dialogue “Voice of the Future”, a project implemented by the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University, with the support of the Russian Middle East Association, the fourth international online round table “Challenges for young people in today's realities” was held.

On February 1, the winners of the Student Research Paper Competition held by HSE University (NIRS-2022) were awarded.

On March 12, HSE University will hold a university-wide Open Day for prospective students of bachelor’s and specialist programmes. The event will be held in the Pokrovka Building and will feature presentations by faculties and campuses, a talk by the Admissions Office, activities from student organisations, a tour of the university’s historical buildings and much more. Those interested in attending must register in advance.

On January 31, 2023, the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University within the framework of the permanent online seminars «Contemporary Area Studies», with the support of the Russian Middle East Association, organized the 61^st online seminar with Dr. Igbal Guliev, Deputy Director of the International Institute of Energy Policy and Diplomacy of MGIMO University, author of Telegram-channel  IG Energy.
