On September 19, the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs held a meeting with the delegation of Zhejiang University of International Studies, China.

The summer language school for students of the “Asian and African Studies” program of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs at Jilin University of Foreign Languages (JUFL) was held August 6-26. The students immersed themselves in learning the basics of the Chinese language, as well as spent several days in the Russian-Chinese border area, visited the sacred mountain Paektusan (Chinese: Changbaishan) on the border of the PRC and the DPRK and the Jingyuetan National Park Reserve.

On July 24, the opening of the Russian-African conference “Russia– Africa: a Strategy for Cooperation in a Multipolar World” took place in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), which was attended by A.B. On June 11, 2024, an open seminar was held at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs within the framework of the project "Challenges to Strategic Stability in South Asia". The speaker at the seminar was Akash Shah, a Research Officer, Strategic Vision Institute (SVI), Pakistan.

On June 5, 2024, an open seminar was held at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs within the framework of the project "South Asia and the challenges of Global Politics". The speaker at the seminar was Dr. Manpreet Sethi, a Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Air Power Studies (CAPS), New Delhi, India.

The Russia team, represented by the students of the Asian and African Studies program, took part in the international championship in Arabic “Qatar Debate” in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
