On October 6, the “Russia Today” media group hosted an expert conference, titled “EOPEC+ Decision: Impact on the Global Oil Market”, in which Leonid M. Grigoryev, Academic Supervisor of the School of World Economy of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, HSE University, took part.

On September 29, 2022, Professor Alexander Lukin, Head of the Department of International Relations, Head of the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, gave an interview to Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

On September 29, the Head of the International Relations Department, Head of the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism A.V. Lukin participated in the international conference "Samarkand SCO Summit: contribution to regional and international security, sustainable development" which took place online.

On September 24, 2022, within the framework of the online project “It’s worth talking about”, meeting was held with Dr. Andrey Baklanov, The State Counselor (1-st class) of the Russian Federation, the Head of the Research sector of the Middle East and North Africa of the School of International Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of HSE University.  

On September 16^th, the Dean of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” Anastasia Likhacheva received the Brazilian Ambassador Carlos Henrique Cardim, professor at the University of Brasilia (UnB) and former director of the Research Institute in International Relations (IPRI) of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss the prospects of academic cooperation.

In September 22^nd, the School of Regional Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs, in cooperation with the School of Foreign Languages of HSE University and the Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences promoted a Round Table on the issue “Chile and reasons behind its slow economic growth”.

Leonid M. Grigoryev, Academic Supervisor, Professor of the School of World Economy, on September 8, took part in the round table of the International Multimedia Press Center “Russia Today” on the topic: “The West against Russian energy carriers: the consequences of the decisions being prepared”.

The Deputy Head of the International Laboratory on World Order Studies and the New Regionalism, the Deputy Head and Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations Dmitri Novikov gave Rediff.com's Archana Masih an e-mail interview discussing Mikhail Gorbachev's contradictory legacy and why Vladimir Putin despised him.

Dean of Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs Anastasia Likhacheva took part in the CIS and EAEU Youth Forum “Kelechek” in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyz Republic. The opening ceremony was attended by Akylbek Zhaparov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Polina Sedlova, 3rd year student of the Bachelor’s Programme “International Relations” of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the HSE University, presented the draft Model of the EAEU at the Youth Forum of the CIS and the EAEU on August 25-26. Funding for the implementation of the project will be allocated by the Gorchakov Fund.
